A bare back against rough tree bark did nothing but aggravate Snape's early claw marks. He was the cat to Sirius's dog, just as feral, just as potentially ferocious. He was an alley cat. A stray. Unwanted and unneeded until he wanted nothing but to lash out, even when he was being touched gently or pleasurably.

Severus gasped against Sirius's skin as his nipple was plucked at and responded by hitting Sirius's in a surreal form of retaliation. He exhausted himself before too long, running too hot too quickly.

Panting, Severus rested against Sirius's bruised chest, loving the feel of hands in his hair. It was silky, despite appearances.
