Out of hand? That was Sirius's problem. He went too far. James usually was the guiding hand to stop things before anyone died or became disfigured. Severus didn't dare glance over his shoulder at Sirius as James threw an arm around his neck and led him down into the dungeon tunnels beneath the lake. Besides, he'd heard the talk. Sirius's other conquests. It was typical gossip, but likely true. Severus bottled up that jealous anger.
