The Very Best of Frenemies
"The Very Best of Frenemies"
Who: Severus & Sirius
When: 6th Year
No one commented on the state of one Severus Snape when he strode purposefully across the Common Room and rushed for the stairs. He flung himself into his bed and charmed the curtains to close so that he could be even more alone than his own purposeful isolation gave him. He could smell Sirius Black on his clothes and he fingers the bruise on his neck with purpose, pushing at it to relive the dull pain and kee it purple. There was something really wrong about that.
No one bothered him all night. Wearing his collar high the next day, Severus ignored the Marauders as he took his seat in Potions. He even ignored the spitballs. No need for detention. He had mushrooms to cataloge after dinner. Remus Lupin's higher voice hit his ears halfway through class: "Paddy, don't even think about it. He's not worth it." Severus turned to glance over his shoulder. His dark eyes met Sirius's. And he turned back around again. No hex. Just a sneer.
Luckily, dinner came quickly after that and, notebook in hand, Severus left early to head out into the woods.

"What do you want, Potter?"
"Just a walk. You need to keep your eyes off of my girlfriend."
So. James thought he was looking at Lily? Severus sneered. "That ugly thing? No, I wasn't--uugh."
Well, he deserved that hit.
no subject
"Oh come on, you git. The entire school knows how you faun over her"
He said, his own jealous anger coming though. What? You still like Lily? After he fucked you into the forest ground?
no subject
Severus's smile turned -- well there was only one word for it. Evil.
"Mudbloods have no place here."
James did not use spells. He used fits. And that was fine, Severus was fairly use to getting roughed up. He let Sirius watch his best friend leave him bleeding. It wasn't just Dark Magic that sicked Severus Snape. He was not a good person. He was conditioned since his unwanted birth not to be.
no subject
Sirius sneers at that word. And he lets James beat him up. Because with that word. Sirius is reminded that no matter what they shared. No matter how good Snape looked in the moonlight or purring against his lips. He's still one of them.
A dick like his mother or brother. Or worse, like Bellatrix. Pureblood elitism.
He's actually considering not turning up on Friday for the first time that week.
no subject
"C'mon, Pads." James shook off the pain in his hand, out of breath. Severus never once tried to defend himself, not once, and he already proved to Sirius that he was more than capable of it.
no subject
Sirius rolls his eyes as he walks past Sev. His eyes quickly searching to make sure he was alright. That he was ok, just for a moment. Before he turned away, letting his long dark hair cover his eyes as he followed James out of the dungeons.

Friday morning swept in like a fog on the moors. Friday afternoon saw Severus absent for lunch, and then again for dinner. But he was there, on the seventh floor, with his hands clenched. Waiting.
no subject
"You've been watching me all week"
He said, as he stepped out of the shadows, his eyes soaking in the sight of the other boy.
no subject
no subject
"But you said that word Severus. I can't forgive that"
no subject
He didn't pull away, though he did put his hand on his wand.
"You've no idea. You'd an idiot and a fool and for Merlin's sake, get your bloody hands off of me!"
no subject
no subject
His voice cracked as he continued, reacting in no other way save that--
"You let him beat two teeth loose."
This entire thing was messed up. And oh Merlin, did Sirius have to be so close?
"I stared. You didn't look back. What is this? Why are you here?" Severus was just a shag. And that hurt him, but he swallowed it up.
no subject
He replied, his hands moving away from his body as he walked over to lean on the wall. He was partly ashamed of that. But, that was something between Snape and James. "You insulted Lily, what did you expect to happen?
He leaned against the wall as he looked over at him.
"I'm here, because you got under my skin Severus. I keep thinking about you. Your not just a shag"
no subject
Sirius was a bit dense. He went off to have fun knocking boots around the school and Severus got himself punched senseless to protect him.
"You think I came up here to be fucked, Black. And you're wrong." Well. Not really. Severus just needed his tantrum.
no subject
He said, glaring back at Snape but his eyes focused on those bruises. Like terrible reminders of what they had done. He went off to knock boots to try and knock that image of Snape out of his mind. Yet here was again> Clearly it did'nt work.
"Then why did you show up Snape? To tell me how terrible dull and dumb I am.How wrong I was? How my touch disgusted you??"
no subject
Severus was defeated. It stung.
"And why I can forget your short comings. I'm better than you, Sirius Black, but you've gotten under my skin as well."
no subject
"And then what do we do? Severus?" He said that name again, as he gently pulled his long hair back into a poinytail. Quickly tying it up with some black string.
no subject
"What do we do? We have rules," he murmured, heated, his mouth against Sirius' a moment later.
no subject
"...What rules"

He purred gently. It's true. Sirius was quite the horny fucker.
"Fine. My turn. You don't ever use that word about me or any of my friends" he said as he bit that earlobe gently.
no subject
He clung to the front of Sirius's robes, fingers moving to the shirt beneath. "I won't say it," Severus promised. Compromise. It was all about compromise. "But no, you can't have sex whenever you want it. There are logistical reasons. And I'm not your whore."
He had an odd feeling that he was talking like a woman. He needed to rectify that.
"I want to try being the one to penetrate."
no subject
He shivered at those fingers, his near midnight eyes watching Snape. His eyebrows raised in shock. He hadn't expected Snape to agree to that. He pouted teasingly at that fact he could'nt get sex when he wanted. "Meanie"
He gently ran his fingers over those marks on Snape's neck as he nodded. He did'nt take a moment. Like he knew that was coming.
"Of course"
no subject
Severus tugged the shirt from Sirius's shoulders and bit eagerly into his mouth.
"Anything else?"
