And in the time it took him to look away and back again, there were clearly ears poking out from his dark hair. Remus stared. And then his eyes got wide. He didn't even hear what the Slytherin said, something about meat. He walked around the table to face Snape.
Normally, he wouldn't do what he was about to, but he wasn't sure if what he saw was real. He softly brought his hand up to Severus's ear. But he didn't touch it. No, instead he pushed some hair behind his ear. And sure enough, there were fuzzy fox ear. "Bloody freaking hell, Severus." He said as he grabbed his hand and made him feel his ear.
