Severus didn't answer. He didn't move at all save to refresh his eyes with a blink of long lashed lids every few seconds. He was lost, not because his mind had blanked -- which was a delicious state to be in when his mind usually buzzed with all sorts of fears and straining thoughts -- but because Remus's eyes were mesmirizing.
Even the brief moment he had looked away hadn't broken the spell.
Slowly, very slowly, Severus's fingers unhooked from the front of Remus's jumper. The imprint of them lingered where he stretched out the wool blend. Tearing his eyes away was another story indeed.
