Severus's disposition seemed much improved once he got a little bit of food in him. He nodded rather rapidly and chanced a smile at Lupin. Despite his mussed up hair and bruised face, it made him seem far less severe to be smiling like that.

Once again, Severus took the initiative and leaned in to kiss Remus's lips. Ah, it felt good. It felt good to be back. He kissed Remus more fervently after that, hands cleared of crumbs.
