Severus nudged Remus over and laid down on top of him. It lined them up better that way and Severus had to admit to really rather enjoying the sudden friction of it. It this was all that happened tonight, he'd be all right with it.

They were getting to know each other. Finally. After so much longing. Severus pressed his palm to Remus's, fingers lacing. He never stopped to consider that Remus really could have been innocent in all of this. That he never asked to be who he was.

"At least he didn't kill you," Severus said, almost grumbling. "He's...bad news."
