Remus felt him struggling a bit as he slept, and brushed some hair out of his face. It didn't lessen the hold he had around Severus at all. He watched as his eyes opened and he furtively kissed him back, hoping it would make it better.

"No. I couldn't leave you." He said simply. Remus was far too comfortable just laying there.
