He could understand that sentiment. Even if it was the Shrieking Shack and he would be spending plenty of time there the next day, he was not happy at all about leaving it now. Still it was better to leave than risk any more time there.
The trek back was entirely too short, even if Remus was trying really hard to walk as slow as possible. They entered the school quietly. They'd have to part at the stairs. Remus looked him over and smiled. "Watch out for the corridor near the old Ancient Runes classroom. Filch should be over there right about now if I think I know the time - or at least the position of the moon." He whispered.
He looked around and noticed the portraits were all asleep. He stole a quick kiss and gave him a small smile. "I guess I'll see you in a few days." Remus said slowly.
