Remus furrowed his brows at that. It was what he figured. It made sense that he'd shut people out and asked about the summer if his mother had died. He nodded slowly and kissed him passionately on the lips. There wasn't anything he could say that would make Severus feel any differently. But he was there for him.

It also made Remus feel incredibly guilty. Severus' mother had died and Remus was in a coma. He'd had no one to be there with him. Even if Remus was in the hospital, it was just another reminder that what happened the night of the full moon was his fault. If he'd spoken to Sirius, most of the hostility would have been gone. He knew deep down that that wasn't all true, but it was easier to blame that.
