Remus continued to hold him, stroking his back lightly. He felt so helpless, not being able to do anything. He wished he could have been there for him at the funeral. It had been several days and Severus was all alone.

He wished they were back at the Shrieking Shack. Remus could have laid there with him for as long as he needed. However he didn't move. He'd stand there for as long as Severus needed.
