Just Causes

"Just Causes"
Who:  Severus Snape & Remus Lupin
When: 6th Year
Chapter OneHere
Chapter Two: Here

Tomorrow night, this place would be filled with a beast tearing at itself until his friends could arrive to keep it calm and keep it company.  Tonight, there was a beast of a different sort in the room, one unnamed but just as fearful.  Swallowing, it was all that Severus could do to clean up as bit before Remus's mouth was on him again.

He laughed.  Laughed.  Mostly this was directed at himself for being so pathetically stupid.  All this time he could have been with Remus and instead, they had left each other feeling miserable over misunderstandings.

Severus was quiet.  Where they were going to do, he wasn't quite sure but he wanted to find out!

Remus shifted to his back and shook his head. "Sirius, you're drunk. This may not be important to you, but it's important to me." He said, his shaky voice betraying his calmed exterior. He hadn't forgot what he was "joking" about doing to Severus several weeks prior.

Sirius drew back, teeth pressed into his lower lip before he turned into Padfoot and slipped out of the werewolf's bed. The dog was only brought into play when Sirius didn't want to talk. It wasn't as if Remus knew the spell to force him out of his animagus for anyhow, and besides, the feral black shape had already disappeared into James's bed.

All that was left of Sirius was his clothing and the taste of his mouth of Remus's.

He was about to follow him before he realized that he was completely naked. It wasn't that he didn't want him, he did. That was a part of the problem. He'd already had an emotionally draining day, but to add this on top just made it worse.

He threw his pants back on, mentally kicking himself before he threw himself against the bed and clutched his pillow. It actually didn't take long for him to fall asleep despite the ache he felt that penetrated deep beneath his bones.
