Just Causes
"Just Causes"
Who: Severus Snape & Remus Lupin
When: 6th Year
Chapter One: Here
Chapter Two: Here
Tomorrow night, this place would be filled with a beast tearing at itself until his friends could arrive to keep it calm and keep it company. Tonight, there was a beast of a different sort in the room, one unnamed but just as fearful. Swallowing, it was all that Severus could do to clean up as bit before Remus's mouth was on him again.
He laughed. Laughed. Mostly this was directed at himself for being so pathetically stupid. All this time he could have been with Remus and instead, they had left each other feeling miserable over misunderstandings.
Severus was quiet. Where they were going to do, he wasn't quite sure but he wanted to find out!

Finally the bliss of a post orgasm hit him, and he continued to just lay there. He could hardly move, but he managed to wrap an arm around Severus, his hand rubbed up his neck and into his hair as he pulled him close for soft, but long kiss.
Remus truly felt something for the other boy, but was far too exhausted to express it in any other way.

He liked that. The hair. It was coarser on Remus's arms and legs as well. Being able to relate to someone because they were animalistic was not exactly what Severus thought of as normal, of course, but he was grateful for it just the same.
"Remus," he murmured, sleepy and content. "Seen my wand about? Should conjure a klaxon charm to wake us so we don't stay all night..."

"We still have about two hours until curfew." He said as he looked out the window at the sky. Dusk had just fallen.
He laid back into the bed once again and waited for Severus to finish the charm before he placed his arms back around him, holding him close just as before.

Severus sat up, sitting back on his heels, and looked over his narrow, angular shoulder at the mess of clothing on the floor.
They had fifteen minutes until curfew.
Moving ought to be done. Sooner rather than later. He sighed and finally got out of bed, pulling on his pants.

It took a few more minutes to get dressed, but soon enough they were making the trek from the Shack back up to Hogwarts. Unfortunately they couldn't dawdle either. Remus squeezed his hand and told him if he didn't see him tomorrow, that he hoped for the best at his mum's funeral. His heart went out to Snape. It'd be a rough few days and Remus would be stuck there, without him.

Even Sirius fell silent to see Severus's face once he lifted his head, however. Taking a step back, he let Severus go without question, watching him limp down the stairs to his own dorm.
"Bloody hell, Prongs, whacha make of that?"
James arched an eyebrow. "Doesn't concern us. Let's go clean up before dinner."

He picked his head up when the two boys entered. It seemed like they were still talking about Snape - well, Sirius was. James was rather quiet. He followed the other two up to the room after shoving his books into his bag. While they showered and did whatever else they did, Remus took out the Marauders Map to see where Snape was.
Telling the two he was skipping dinner to work on a Charms project, Remus headed out to find Snape.
